Train was meandering in one of the many dumps inside of his territory when he noticed a golden retriever puppy investigating a moving Chinese takeout box. The curious Dogo Argentino began to pad over when he noticed a rat run out of the box. He licked his lips in anticipation as he trotted to where the rat had disappeared. Moments later, he popped out of the shadows with a dead rat in his mouth and headed towards the puppy. "Hi, beautiful," he began. "I'm Train. Want this rat? You look a bit thin."

"Well, if you're sure," Train paused, chewing on the rat once or twice before letting it slide down his throat, his stubby tail wagging. He ran his long tongue over his jowls to wipe them of the rat's blood. "Ah, delish. Nice to meet you, Sky. You know, technically, you're in my territory, but since you're so young, I'll let you stay. If you come with me, I'll show you where I sleep and you can stay with me. There are a lot of dogs out here that would try to take advantage of a young, pretty thing like you. How old are you anyway?" he asked, trotting off and looking back to see if she was following.

"Almost old enough to mate," Train muttered, low enough so that Sky couldn't hear him. "It sure is, beautiful. All of this is mine. You see, I'm the biggest dog in town, so I get whatever I want. Most dogs that try coming into my territory without my permission get dragged out half-dead. The rest get dragged out all the way dead." He continued at a comfortable pace, walking through alleys and around homeless drunks. The few dogs that they passed immediately assumed a submissive pose, with ears back, tail down, and eyes cast toward the ground. He stopped before a hole in a wall that lead into an abandoned warehouse. "After you, honey buns," he invited.

OOC: Sorry, had to run some errands with my dad.

IC: Train stuck his nose into the hole in the wall, making sure no other dogs had been in his "den" since he left. Finding the coast to be clear, he entered. Sky was presented with a cold concrete floor, partially covered with a threadbare rug that seemed to have been recovered from a dumpster. Abandoned cushions of all shapes and sizes that seemed to have come from discarded couches littered the floor. "Welcome to my den, Sky. You can take a cushion if you like. I'll be right back."

Train had noticed the scent of a new dog in his territory. He tracked the scent to an Australian Shepherd standing protectively over a human. "Who are you and what the **** are you doing in my territory?" he growled.

"Oh, a dog that think he has some class, huh? He's a ****ing human," Train replied harshly. "Why would I care about him? If you want to waste your time on him, then do so outside of my territory before I tear you to pieces. Or you could just, you know, pay me enough and I might let you hang around. You will have to work on your attitude a bit, though." Train sat on the off-colored concrete and began to lazily lick his front leg like a cat would. He looked up. "I'm the boss around here, see. Either you leave, quickly, with your tail between your legs and a case of what they call 'severe blood loss', or you do everything I say and potentially keep your life and your blood. It's your call."

Train studied the other dog carefully, occasionally glancing at the nervous human. "I would highly suggest that you leave. I'm twice as big as you, and obviously at least twice as smart as you." He paused, deliberating in his mind. He smelled Sky behind him. I'm going to have to give that pup some stealth lessons, he thought.

"Tell you what. I am a reasonable dog. You have," here Train paused, looking at the sun, "until sundown to get this human some help. If you are not gone by then, I will put both you and your human out of your misery. If you are still here, I will make you an example to my protégé," he motioned with his head to the golden retriever doing a bad job of hiding behind him, "of what happens to trespassers. Oh, and I suggest that you don't tempt me with your high-and-mighty attitude. I haven't given out a good thrashing in ages."

He turned, heading back the way that he came. "Come on, Sky," he said as he passed her hiding spot.

"I'm fine, puppy," Train replied, giving the smaller dog a lick on the top of her head as he passed. "That son of a ***** over there might be having some problems soon though. I need to give you some lessons in hiding, though. Whenever you are running away from a human or sneaking up on prey or another dog, you should know how to hide properly."

By this time, the two dogs had arrived at Train's den, which they now shared. Another dog, a male German Shepherd, was waiting for them, his ears back and eyes cast down submissively. "Hello, alpha," he began. "You honor this dog with your presence. May this unworthy dog speak to his alpha?"

Train ignored him. "Sky, this is one of the dogs that I let hang out in my territory. His name is Eddie. I'm his boss, just like I am the boss of every other dog around here. Since you hang out with me, you are his boss now, too."

(OOC: It would be really nice if Rob and Valley get out in time, but I have to play tough dog here, so I really can't help out much.)

Train looked at the pup thoughtfully. "That's why I gave them time to leave. Honestly, sometimes I'm too nice for my own good. That human might have looked harmless, but he might send other humans that want to hurt us. Anyway, I'm hungry. I'm going to show you a place where you can always get food."

(OOC: Is it okay if I add something like a human that can understand what dogs are saying?)
